We develop and sell solar-based technologies and products that sustain the environment, improve the lives of consumers, and increase the effectiveness of organizations.
Blackboard Solar, Inc. grew out of the inspiration that David Maurice "Reese" Wilson drew from a situation his brother faced when he was serving in the U.S. Army and deployed in the Middle East. His brother wasn't able to call home for a while because his cell phone was dead and he had no way to charge it. This surprised Reese given the current state of energy-related technologies.
Our goal at Blackboard Solar is to develop energy-related solutions that address practical needs in a sustainable way. We aim to do well by doing good. Even more, we are dedicated to being a good corporate citizen that not only creates wealth for our shareholders but also improves the communities in which we are a part.
Blackboard Solar has a number of innovations in the pipeline underpinned by our mobile portable power platform. Solar backpacks are our flagship product. Our Progenitor Series solar backpack is primarily targeted to the corporate branding and promotional products market and the emergency preparedness market. Distributors and corporate customers should contact us directly. Individuals interested in purchasing one of our solar backpacks can find us on Amazon.

Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of and concerned about climate change and its associated problems, which affects not only our generation but future generations as well.
A significant portion of the climate change is largely driven by the energy production demands required of modern lifestyles.
Although concerned about the issue, many people are reluctant to drastically modify their lifestyles to mitigate the problem.
Current green energy solutions are either too expensive or require significant lifestyle changes. This prevents their widespread adoption and minimizes their ability to produce a positive impact.
The solar backpack is revolutionary, especially for the future hardships that are approaching!
These solar backpack designs are amazing, the fact you can charge your electronics from a bag is nice, all from the sun.
